Roscoe Village is a perfect fall location. The Apple butter festival had the streets full of vendors and fall was in full bloom. The buildings were hidden by the vendors so I didn’t get any good photos of the buildings but if you google Roscoe Village there are lots of photos of the historic buildings. The Village was run down and in deplorable conditions and the people in that area were wonderful and restored the buildings for all to enjoy. The area is beautiful with the changing leaves and the countryside and all the gift shops are decorated for fall. It puts you in the mood for crisp sunny days with hot cider and good company!
Harvest is in full bloom!!
Perfect opportunity to see some great primitive decorating. I love taking what some would call junk and making it into something great!
A photo of a home on the edge of Roscoe Village. A Victorian beauty in the rough. I would love to see the inside of this home.

Beautiful Fall Weekend in Roscoe Village
It’s that time of year! Every year we go to Roscoe Village for a long weekend. It is the weekend of their Apple Butter Festival.
Roscoe Village is a restored 19th century canal town along what was the Ohio Erie Canal. We travel through beautiful country taking the Ohio back roads to get there. The colors, fields and barns are just gorgeous this time of year. Below are pictures of our drive. The back roads just put me in a good mood, eye candy that I never tire of.
